If you don't want your phone to really only do talk and text, then you could try the Samsung S125g. Since it doesn't have a web browser, that means no downloadable games or ringtones.
If you want to go slightly in the opposite direction and add a basic camera then you could choose from a couple of basic QWERTY phones or flip phones.
If you want an inexpensive QWERTY phone then the LG 500g can be a good choice. A slightly better model available from NET10 is the 900g.
Basic flip-style camera phones like the LG 440g are still available. While they don't have capability of smart phones, they're still great for their long standby time so you don't have to worry about charging it everyday.
This Kyocera Kona is a basic camera phone. Some touches such as the external screen graphics are kind of nice, and you do get access to some of Virgin's stuff.
