Hear your Tracfone voice mail messages for free!

I have a Tracfone LG600G. The user manual that came with the phone is useless for anything but buying stuff.

It tells how to buy more air time, more ring tones
and wall paper but gives virtually no help in how
to actually use the features of this phone.

Example-- it's a speaker phone but the manual does not mention how to turn that feature on.

Did you know you can access your voice mail box from a land line and not use ANY air time minutes?
Yep! You have to set up a "password" which can be a 4 digit number and you can do that online.
Then just shut off your cell phone. Call your cell number from a land line. When you hear "leave a message" press the star key. This activates your mail box and it asks for your password. Just press your 4 digit pass word number and you are into the main menu for your voice mail where you can do virtually anything you could with the cell but you aren't using any minutes!
