Works with Motorola W376g...but not LG 290C

I was able to text Canada numbers with 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx using my Motorola W376g but I have since upgraded to a LG 290c and can only receive texts from international numbers.

Thanks for your comments. It's interesting that the W376g is a GSM phone probably running on AT&T's or T-Mobile's network, while your LG 290C is a CDMA phone probably running on Verizon's network.
