A: Yes, you can check in on Facebook on the Samsung Galaxy Precedent phone. You may need to have either the GPS turned on or be connected to a WiFi network for the phone and Facebook to be able to determine your location so that you can check-in.

Similarly, your location is also available to the Google Places application so you can easily rate an establishment.
