Will the Motorola EX124g from Straight Talk work with Tracfone's plans?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, you have to get the EX124g from Tracfone to use with Tracfone's plans. The airtime tracking mechanism is programmed into the phone itself which makes the phones incompatible even though they're the same model of phone and even though the Tracfone and Straight Talk brands are both owned by the same company.
