Why can't I buy Pay as you Go Net10 minutes in my Dollar General store?

by Fran
(Montgomery City, MO USA)

The young Manager kept telling me they didn't sell $20 Net10 card, and I would have to buy the $25 (monthly) one, where I would lose my minutes and days of service. Other cashiers sold them to me until I confronted the Manager and then the cards disappeared.

Now I have to drive 60 miles round trip to purchase minutes at other Dollar General stores. I think another card can be put in my local store again, and that manager should be fired. We have a new store in Wellsville, but she may have been moved there, and I don't want to waste gas going there if she is. Thank You

Net 10 red and blue cards
by: Anonymous

I am sure you guys do not understand . The guy is talking about the RED Net 10 20 dollar card, the blue net 10 20 dollar card dose not work in his phone nor mine only the red card , and the other stores you said have them do Not, they have the blue card only. Also the RED Net 10 20 dollars cards and 30 dollars red cards are on a roller index behind the counter at Dollar General and you have to ask and show the cashier what one you want.
Net 10 said they are weeding out the red per paid cards. I still have to drive 30 miles to get mine.

Net10 airtime cards.
by: Emotionalzombie7997

I understand that you my live in a small town and have limited stores to purchase your airtime cards from. Every chain gas station that I have used during the last 10 years offers Net10 phones and airtime cards. My local grocery store also sells airtime cards.
You are correct Dollar General should sell all increments of Net10 airtime cards. Next time you go ask for the $30 300 minutes airtime cards. This way you will only have to purchase 1 airtime card every 60 days. This is the cheapest way to purchase airtime cards for the Net10 pay as you go cell phone plan.
If Dollar General will not let you purchase a $30 airtime card, you may want to go to the website and have Net10 use automatic withdraw from your checking account.
Another option would be to save some money and purchase many pay as you go airtime cards $20, $30, $45, or $60 airtime cards and add them all at once. The best value would be to purchase multiple $30 airtime cards. This will give you the most service days for your money.

Dollar gen stores are NOT the only place to purchase your minutes, try any franchised gas station or convenience stores! Or any Walmart ... And yes the dollar gen mgr. Is dropping the ball.
