Verizon Prepaid Cell Phones
A Quick Overview
You can choose from a short but sweet selection of Verizon Prepaid Cell Phones to go with your prepay plan. In this case I've selected the Inpulse Core plan to see what's available. The phones range from the Samsung SCH-u410, a basic camera phone with Bluetooth wireless to the Samsung Alias SCH-u740 which features a better camera, music players and a QWERTY keyboard.
Samsung SCH-U410
The Samsung sch-u410 is the least expensive of the Verizon prepaid cell phones available with their prepay plans. Costing $50 it still offer a pretty good set of features including a basic VGA camera, Bluetooth wireless capability among other features. You can surf the web on it in addition to making phone calls and sending text messages. The analog clock on the external display is pretty cool, too.
Samsung SCH-u340
The Samsung SCH-u340 is another basic flip style handset. A digital external clock replaces the analog one on the sch-u410. You keep the camera but exchange the Bluetooth capability for the ability to do Mobile instant messaging. It's retail price is about $60, but that's only to maintain the illusion of a big discount as this particular model is usually sold for $30 or $40 at various big box stores such as Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.
LG VX5400 Prepay
At about $85, the LG VX540 is a slightly more expensive Verizon prepaid phone. It doesn't have any major feature upgrade but it does have a lot of small little improvements such as better software utilities, a voice recorder, and other features that could be a plus if you need to use your phone more extensively for your business. The overall appearance "looks" a little more solid as well.
Motorola Razr V3m
The Razr's gone from stylish to "classic", but it's still a nice phone. For $100, you finally get a decent (1.3 megapixel) camera in addition to the Bluetooth capability. You also get a music player, thereby offering you the opportunity to dump one of your devices if you want to lighten your load while keeping (some of) your music.
Samsung Alias – SCH–u740
The Samsung Alias – SCH–u740 is the only one of the Verizon Prepaid cell phones to offer a QWERTY keyboard for composing text and email messages. The Qwerty keyboard is the main upgrade from the Razr offering. The phone which costs $135 also offer a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth capability. Like the Razr it has a slightly flat squarish look different from the more rounded looks of most flip-style cell phones. You can check out some . . .
