Transfer pictures to my computer?

What use is a camera phone if I can't do anything w/the pictures?
I thought I would be able to transfer photos from my phone to my computer. I'm cheap and unemployed, I don't want to spend 1min per pic to send to someone else so they can get it on the web.
I would have stayed with my old phone(which had a customizable menu)if I knew it was like this. I've read the manual forwards and backwards. It has no way to upload photos from phone to computer.
That just disappointments me.
