Tracfone in the Philippines? No.

Hi, I'm from the Philippines and my brother who is in the USA, sent me two each TRACFONE SAMSUNG T105G units so we can communicate with each other.

However, when I placed my local prepaid sim card (Globe Telecoms is my service provider)... a "SIM LOCK CODE-1" is prompted when I turned it on.

Please advise me what to do... or appreciate if you can please email me the SIM LOCK CODE-1.

I don't think Tracfone handsets can be used outside the U.S. except in Puerto and maybe the U.S. Virgin Islands, but I'll put your question up in case someone can help you.

Further, the Philippines is not on the list of international destinations that you can call with a Tracfone.
