Screen lighting is too brief

I am a new cell phone user - learning as I go and so far learning has been fairly easy. Because I am slow to make choices in the menu, etc. the screen goes dark before I'm finished. How can I lengthen the time the screen is lighted?

Hi Dee,

Go to Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight

There you can set how long the backlight stays on. You can set it to as little as five seconds and up to 3 minutes long. You can even set it not to go off until you close the flip phone.

You can also set the brightness of the screen.
