Samsung T301G Tracfone Package

I had used my Motorola camera prepaid Tracfone for over 2 years. One day it stopped working. Put a new battery in and it still wouldn't come on. So I went on the Internet shopping for a new Tracfone. Saw the Samsung T301G and after reviewing it for a while I decided to purchase it online for $29.99.

When I received it by UPS there was only the phone, battery, and home charger. All of the descriptions say it comes with an accessory kit consisting of a car charger, a handsfree wired headset, and a carrying case. So what happened to mine. Hope it doesn't mean it refurbished. Tracfone assured me it was brand new. Could you explain this to me please? Thanks...

The refurbished Tracfones come inside a plain brown cardboard box with no additional packaging. The new ones usually come in a bright plastic packaging which comes in a brown cardboard box.

Tracfone does change their offers around which can be frustrating. When I checked their site just now, I saw that they do not currently offer the accessory kit with the new phone in my area, and they offer a 60 minute airtime card worth $20 with the refurbished model. The free accessory kits are offered only with the newer model LG 500g handsets.

I see that the info on my own review of the phone needs to be updated as the picture shows a gift card which is also not currently offered. If it was my review that caused the confusion, please accept my apologies.
