Regret getting Motorola i776

I got my phone like 5mths ago and I've had nothing but problems. i hate it so much and regret getting it even more with how much I paid for my phone.

I got the Motorola i776. I didn't get the cheapest phone they had or nothing. This phone is so annoying. The battery goes dead so fast if you talk on the phone any length of time. The texting is horrible. I don't get probably 60% of the texts people send me. And I cant send pics to a lot of people either. It says it got sent but they never get it. I miss calls all the time simply cause my phone doesn't ring and they only way I ever know if someone has called is if they leave a message.

I get dropped calls a lot too. and when I call customer service there solution is ALWAYS the same. I have to reset my whole phone and that's all they ever tell me they can do. so I have to reprogram all my settings and features and still get stuck with the same problems. And I don't live in the country or anything. I live in a big city so you figure it would be OK but it's not. If my phone is in my back pocket and I sit down I loose reception or if I lay it in the wrong spot in my house I don't have reception.

I HATE this phone and am now going to have to spend even more money getting a different plan with another company. Yeah its $50 a month for unlimited everything. but what's the advantages if you can't use it like they say you can. If you're thinking about switching to boost I strongly suggest you don't.

I am sorry you had so many probs with your phone. I just posted a great review for the one I just bought which is exactly what you have. My only prob is I am out in the country. Once I near the city or just people in general(lol), Reception is great. I can text and receive text with no prob along with calls. I wonder if there may be a prob with the phone.

I regret boost mobile too
by: Anonymous

I just got that crappy i776 phone yesterday. I can't believe I paid 100 dollars for that piece of junk! I wanted to return it today but had to work. It goes back in the morning. The 50 per month is what brought me to boost too, but as the original poster said, what's the point if the phone is no good. None of their other phones are appealing to me either. Endless useless menus, impossible texting, slow responding phone, horrible sound quality, disappointing so-called "web access"...using this phone is inefficient and frustrating. It doesn't even have basic stuff like an alarm on it. I was actually very satisfied with my 20 dollar phone from Net10 which I've had for 2 years. It's my primary phone now, so I'm spending too much on minutes which is why I decided to go boost. Well, I've to decided to pay Net10 80 bucks a month for unlimited usage, since I know they have great coverage, sound quality, and the phone is straightforward-- easy and quick to use without burying stuff in those dang menus, plus it has useful stuff like the alarm and stopwatch. Sorry to have forsaken you, Net10. I just hope I can get my old number back, since Boost supposedly imported it but 28 hours later it has not shown up.

Boost Mobile Sucks
by: Anonymous

I went to boost because I like the 50 dollar everything unlimited plan, but really all its good for is voice calls. I text a lot, or at least i used to until i got boost. It takes forever to send and receive messages. One time i sent my friend a message that I would be over in about fifteen minutes and by the time i arrived at his house it was still trying to send the text. It's typical to have to wait 1-3 minutes for a text to send or to download a received message. That's ridiculous. I am going to Virgin mobile. I'll pay a little bit more for a better texting experience. And good luck getting boost's customer service to help you. That is, if you can find one who speaks english.

Boost Is The Worst
by: LeeAnn

My experience with BOOST was very similar to the other poster. It was nearly impossible to text--- would take forever for the text to send. I live right in a fairly large city and the reception in my home was beyond terrible. I would have to go outside to talk, was always missing messages. It was nearly useless and I felt bad about the $100 I spent on this phone and 2 months of service I could barely use. I am being honest, this service was not worth it at any price.

I would agree that boost is not good

First boost mobile does not live up to all the talk they want you to belive. i have the black berry and it totally sucks. The reception is back loses connections all the time lost calls always happen. can not text does not work in my home. I live in a big city it is terrible but sprint owns them. can not text either internet does not work all the time. the phone cost me 250.00 dollars and now it sells for 129.00 cause no one buys them anymore. customer service is terrible and they do not care about you and dont seem to want to help you no matter what your problems are , also they are rude and it takes a long time to get someone on the phone to help you and when they do get to you they are rude and dont have any answers to help you. they totally suck.

Boost works just fine for me

Customer service sucks (B)alls. But I have to say service wise phone calls, text, web for 50 bucks with the shrinkage thing you cant beat it. 4 people I know have Boost no problems.
