Reboot to Set the Date and Time

Hi. Can anyone help? I can get to the proper screen but it does not accept any changes. It just keep flipping between date and time formats, but doesn't allow an actual change. Can anyone give me step-by-step directions to enter the correct date and time? I am very frustrated. Thank you.

Not adjusting to daylight savings time

Even after turning the phone off and then on, I still cannot get an updated time (after daylight savings change). I have even gone so far as to remove the battery and wait for a period of time before re-installing it, still no change.

This drives me nuts twice a year! I love the Samsung Tracfone, and had the $10 Motorola for 6 years before this one, but just cannot understand why this function is not something the consumer can change. So frustrating!!

I had the same problem. User Manual is worthless! I just took out the battery and put it back in and it automatically reset the time. Apparently you can't just change the time when you want to.

Thanks for the previous tip! Rebooting the phone (turn off, then on again) does reset the time. Note the following if you are a fanatic about accuracy like me: after my first reboot the phone was 20 seconds slow; after a second reboot it was 13 seconds fast. Therefore, this method appears to be accurate only to within a minute, and you can continue to reboot (and compare to your pc's clock) till you get close enough to the accuracy you want.

I like you had a problem setting time and date. Then it set the correct time and date automatically
when it rebooted.
