Opera Mini on LG 800g
Q: Can you run Opera Mini on the LG 800g?
A: Yes, the LG 800g is also known at the LG T310. Opera Software's website says that, based on testing, this phone supports Opera Mini 6.5 and Opera Mini 4.4.
From that link you can download the .jar and .jad files for either version to your PC and transfer them to the microSD memory card phone. In my case I downloaded version 6.5 to my laptop and transferred the files over to the download folder on the memory card in the phone via data cable.
When I opened the .jar file on my phone, the application was installed in the Games & Applications folder and I was able to launch it.
When it starts up, you have the option of including the navigation keys on the screen or not. I said "Yes" to include the navigation keys as you can see from the picture.
As Opera Mini launches, you will get an alert that running the browser to access the internet is going to cost your airtime, and you have to agree to that.
