Okay service, decent phones

I am not a huge fan of their service and plans, but it isn't horrible, either. It is great for people who cannot qualify credit-wise for a regular monthly cell-phone plan. However, there are a LOT of dead spots in service, and service areas are sometimes really small. Reception is sketchy near the mountains, and if you are even a foot out of your cell area, you will not get service or have to pay roaming fees.
The plans are reasonable priced, but can cost a lot extra for any incidentals like long distance and roaming. The phones which a person can qualify for with the different plans are decent and sturdy, and there is a fairly wide selection of phones available for users of cricket's plans.
It is great because there are no contracts, and a person can cancel at any time, making it a no obligation cell phone plan, and you only pay for what you use, which is another plus.
