The phone doesn't have a "plane" mode so what is the best thing to do when flying? If you turn it off, it takes a long time to come back on so I'm wondering if there's some other method to satisfy airline regulations.
My LG500g has a "plane" mode and the phone comes right back on which is good when you land. Whereas the W376g takes forever to come to life.

Hi Mary,
I think you just have to turn it off. While it's on, the phone will try to establish a connection with the network - which could cause interference.
