new tracfone samsung model can't text internationally

I bought a tracfone samsung model, to text and call internationally because it was the best deal out there at price per minute.

I can send and receive calls to Canada, and I can receive text messages but I cannot send any text messages out from this phone.

If you are thinking you will be able to do that think again, thanks

question on city code for Denmark

I cannot even call a land line from my lg 500 tracfone. I enter the 011 + 45 country code and then the 8 digit denmark number and it won't go through. I spent an hour on the line with Tracfone and they say I need a city code. Does anyone know of a city code for Denmark so I can get through? I should be dialing 011 + 45 country + city + the 8 digit phone number. What is the city number?

Tracfone not allowing texts and calls to Denmark cell phones

I just got finished talking to tracfone and I was told, my LG500G cell phone is blocked from texting a cellphone in Denmark or calling a cell phone. I can call my friend's landline in Denmark from my cell, but not my friend's cell phone. I was told all tracfone cell phones are blocked for texting internationally. My old tracfone worked great for texting to Denmark, she told me that was accident and if I reactivate the old tracfone, it will be blocked too. She told me this is the new tracfone rule. I had her repeat the statement to be sure I heard her correctly. Keep this in mind when shopping for cell phone.
