Net10 Unlimited Surprise

by Host Baltz
(Lake Worth, Florida)

I've had my NET10 phone for about a year. It came with 300 minutes and I paid 30 dollars for it, so the phone was virtually free.

I like it and know that it's not a high tech thing but to talk and text and check my email, it's just fine.

Amazingly, I can use the same phone for Net10's new Unlimited service at $50 a month on my old phone. It's a terrific thing and the fact that I didn't have to buy a new phone to get Unlimited ROCKS.

I didn't know that Net10 allowed this on their older phones, but now you do too!

No more 300 minutes free.
by: sb (admin)

Hi Emily,

I'm eager to try out the LG 900g myself. However, I don't think you get 300 minutes anymore with a new Net10 phone. I've tried to remove references to that on my site, but I may have missed a couple. The last couple of Net10 phones I've activated have given me the 60 days of service, but only 10 minutes.

Regards.

That does rock
by: Emily

Yeah, I've been using Net10s 750 minute plan the whole time I've been with them and was thinking of jumping up to their Unlimited plan. But I also wanted to upgrade to the LG900G and then I found out that buying it through net10 will get you an added 60 days of 300 minutes so I decided I'm going to buy the phone and take advantage of that offer first before I buy myself the Unlimited plan.

The best thing about prepaid
by: April

The reason I switched to prepaid and to Net10 was for flexibility. I hated being locked into a contract, with fees to change anything. With Net10 I can chop and change as I want, getting the Unlimited plan in months when I know I need it (like December for Christmas!), and others scaling back to a smaller amount. All on the same phone, with the same number and no fees, it seems crazy to do it any other way.
