Ask them to mail you a new one
by: sb (admin)

Hi,

I would ask them politely to mail you a new one free. I would be surprised that they would be willing to give up $50 a month from a customer.

I knew someone with an old analog Tracfone (sister company). When Tracfone discontinued that kind of phone and service, they mailed him a new one.

Regards.

Target no longer carries Net 10 Unlimited phones
by: Anonymous

I used to be a loyal Net 10 customer. I had the unlimited plan for two years and never had a problem. Now they are telling me that the phone I have had for 2 years is no longer supported by Net 10 Unlimited. That I have to buy a "Net 10 Unlimited" phone sold only at Target stores.

Here's the problem...TARGET NO LONGER CARRIES THESE PHONES! And you cannot get them on line or at any other retail outlet. Net 10 customer service (the worst ever...) is still telling you that you can get it at Target...which you can't. They discontinued carrying them three months ago.

I am going to try AT&T...their unlimited plan is $10 more a month, but has had decent ratings. I do not want to leave Net 10, but feel forced, out of frustration, that I have no other choice.

Net10 int'l
by: Nellie

For an extra 5c you can make int'l calls with Net10. This beats going to gas stations to buy int'l calling cards that are often times unreliable. It may be more expensive but totally worth it for the sake of convenience and reliability.

USE PREPAID LOCAL ACESS PHONE CARDS FOR INTERNATIONAL CALLING.
by: Anonymous

Just go to any gas station and check the back of the card to make sure it has a local access#. Dial that, NOT the 800# and enter the pin, then the country code, city code, and phone#. IT'S THAT EASY.

Net 10 Unlimited Doesn't Allow 800 Toll-Free Calls!!!!
by: Anonymous

Net 10 wireless; Prepaid Minutes Plan, Do allow you to dial 800#s, but the Net 10 Unlimited plan for $50.00 does NOT allow you to complete such calls including 800 and 888 calls. Also this feature blocks you from being able to use international calling cards which FIRST REQUIRE YOU TO DIAL A 1-800 ACCESS#. This Sucks!!!!! I MEAN THE 800 CALLS ARE ALREADY FREE, WHY BLOCKED? So if you do use international calling cards make sure that you get a LOCAL ACESS# CARD-NOT A 800# ALSO THIS IS TRUE FOR THE STRAIGHT TALK PLAN.

Net10 Unlimited!
by: Janis

Net10 unlimited is absolutely amazing. I cannot even begin to write how much money I have saved. First off you get these bundles where you have unlimited texting, talking, and web browsing for sooo cheap! The deal is just outrageous. And these bundles can be used for additional services such as international calling and data content. Its just a win-win situation.
