Love the EM326g phone except the time and Time Zone

The EM326g phone is great but what's not is the time especially when you go to the shortcut menu and click on the time zone set up -- when you set the time zone to NY or Chicago (or any other State or Country) it's 10 minutes behind the real time even when you have the Daylight Savings Time on. For example: lets say its 10:55am where you live but on your phone it's 10:39am so you definitely have a problem unless you call customer service. So I'm assuming everyone had this problem??
