Lost LG420 TracFone

After losing my phone, I contacted TracFone Customer Service who advised me to deactivate the phone. Questions:

1. Was this the right move, should I do more?
2. Even though deactivated is the data (names, phone numbers, etc) still there?
3. Couldn't find a replacement LG420, so bought a LG441. Is this equal to the 420 in terms of features, performance, etc.

Hi Richard,

Sorry to hear about that. It is quite the hassle, but I don't think there's much more you can do. Yes, anyone who finds your phone will have access to your contacts and any previous messages unless you had put in a security access code that was required to use it.

Regarding your new device, I haven't used it myself, but another visitor provided some useful comments about the LG 441G here.

Hi, Richard. Yes, you can use the same charger. As I don't have a separate review for the 441, please feel free to add your comments on this page: https://www.prepfone.com/what-about-the-lg-441g.html

My new LG441G battery charger looks very similar to the one i used on my recently lost LG420G. Do you know if they are interchangeable?

BTW, there are many changes on the 441 from the 420.

Richard
