LG600 not good for travel

I purchased a LG600G Tracfone for $39.95 from Tracfone for use in my vehicle. I have a vacation home about 200 miles from my home. The phone will not work consistently at my vacation home and gives me "emergency use only" about 80% of the time even with a consistent 5 bar reception signal.

My previous v170 Motorola worked very well at both locations. I have spent no less than 5 hours on overseas phone calls to no avail. I have been cut off, they have changed all parameters on the phone etc. In short DO NOT BUY this phone if you travel and at my next expiration I will change providers!
