LG 600g good phone but bad battery life

LG600G cell phone is basically a very good unit but has one MAJOR flaw. As far as i can tell-despite following all advice that I have obtained - under NO circumstances will the Lithium Ion Battery last as long as claimed?

Actual talk time is aprox 2 to 3 hour max, whilst the claimed 13 days on Standby is surely a misprint or joke? If my phone lasts for 2 days without discharging I am somewhat lucky!! How about 36 hours? (My maximum Standby Time so fare!!)

As I say the phone IS a very well-put-together Cell Phone but the Battery Life?......Time for a change to a more reliable phone I think!
