International Texting to Germany

I purchased a new TracFone for my son visiting from Germany. When I phoned customer service today to set up international texting on his phone I was told that they do not offer international texting. I said BS, I have been sending text from my TracFone to Germany for 4 years now.

So I asked if I could speak to his supervisor; he acted like he did not hear me and said again in a nasty voice, "We do not allow international texting, and if you continue to text to Germany, we will discontinue your service." Then he asked me for my TracFone number so he could report me.

Well, needless to say, I did not give him my number and called him a few choice words and hung up. I'm not stupid, this is my main way of communicating with my son when he is home in Germany without spending a arm and a leg to do so. So Ha Ha TracFone!
