International sms texting works

I have been using tracfone for some time and even though the Philippines is not on the international calling list, I send/receive sms text messages from my family there without problems. I do this with their cheap candy bar phone!

I have tried sending an sms in the Philippines thru my tracfone but my family doesnt seem to receive it. Why is that? Please help. :(

I have 2 Tracfones one is a Motorola W376g I use to send messages to my wife in the Philippines when I am in the states the Philippines is not on their international list but I have had no problem. The other is an LG420G but when I try to use it I get the message (Check sum call restriction 45)why should one work and the other not shouldn't they both have the same restriction? and is there any way to remove that restriction?

My brother can send and receive text messages to Lebanon from his Tracfone, but I can't from mine. Lebanon is not on the list of countries.
