How to install new Java midlets on this phone? I've got a micro-usb cable for file transfers but if it's possible to use java midlets i don't know where to place them so the phone will execute them. Any ideas?

Hi Jimbob,
Since you have a data cable, I assume you also have also inserted a microsd memory card into your phone. Once you insert it, the phone usually formats it and creates a bunch of folders including one for games and apps. I don't remember the exact folder names, and I don't currently have a memory card inserted in my ex431g to check.
Once you've transferred the files, then you should be able to navigate to those folders and install and launch the app.
If you don't have a memory card installed, then you can transfer the file to your phone via Bluetooth or web. Usually it then goes into the received files folder, and from there you can repeat the process.
Another option for downloading java apps is to do it over the web from a site like m.getjar.mobi Choose Java J2ME as you type of phone. This works, but it does cost you airtime. You can save some airtime by first going to the getjar site on your computer and finding the app you want before using your phone to download it.
Hope this helps.
