Q: How to set time and date on Samsung T105G Phone?

A: Every time you turn on the phone, there is an auto update of the time and date. This happens automatically.

There is no way to set the time yourself.

Mine works fine. For example, when I checked the time on the handset I have for testing, I noticed that the auto update accounted for the time change.

If you always keep your phone on all the time, you may just need to turn it off and back on again.

Needs to connect to the network.

The time is obtained from the network. I'm guessing that if you're in Brazil, the phone can't reach the US network.

Time on the track phone

Your advise on changing the time by holding down the OFF switch will not work on my phone. I took it with me from Arizona to Brazil and nothing works re the time change. I guess one just has to get use to it being a what you pay is what you get deal.

The time change had me baffled too. (Nothing in the owner's manual.) Thanks. Appreciate it. (Turning the phone COMPLETELY OFF {holding down the pwr/end button until the whole unit shuts down, and then holding down the pwr/end button down until it comes back on}). Thanks!

i left my phone on last night it was day light saving time. i went to settings and spent a hour trying to change time . i try to think i am a little smart, but this made me think other wise. i never consider to re-boot my phone. i just got a tracfone to replace my land-line. anyway this site was a real help. 10 stars.
