Q: How to disable the web browser.
A: You can't really disable the web browser other than completely disabling communications by going into "Airplane mode" - which means you can't make any calls either. But all is not lost!.
You can reassign the right soft key to something other than the web browser. This way you can only access the browser via the main menu which avoids accidental presses.
To reassign the key on the W408g, go to:
Settings -> Keys -> Right Soft Key.
You then assign to it either Contacts, Call History, Messages, Office Tools, Games & Apps or Settings.
In the photos shown above, I've reassigned the right soft key to go straight to the Games!
