Emailing pictures or downloading to my pc?

How about sending pictures to my pc or email? No instructions anywhere that I can see!

Hi,
It doesn't appear that you can create an email contact on the LG 420g, so I don't think you can send them to an email address.

You can, however, send them to your PC or other device via Bluetooth. So all you need is a Bluetooth-enabled PC or you can get a cheap adapter from Amazon. I use an older Trendnet adapter. It's not as compact but works for me.

These are the most precise and accurate instructions I have found on this subject. THANK YOU so very much. I am now able to send my pics from my Trac Fone LG 420g to my computer and am very happy. My phone is about 1 year old and it took this long for someone to explain how to do this, and this person doesn't even work for TracFone. They don't even provide this info, I know I have been looking for it since I bought this phone a year ago.

You will need to go to contacts then to the message. Under Options find ADD DETAILS another list will appear including adding email address.

I just found out how to do this the other day so I wanted to share it because it appears that a lot of people have this problem.
First what I did was stored my cell phone number into the phone book then clicked edit then clicked on options then add detail then clicked email address then typed my email address in the box then clicked done.
Second, put that in the "To:" box BUT MAKE SURE YOU PUSH DOWN ONCE TO HIGHLIGHT THE EMAIL ADDRESS AND NOT THE PHONE NUMBER.
Third, to send pictures to your email what you do is look at the bottom of the screen and you will see a toolbar, press down twice so you can add a picture (I was able to send up to 4 per text to email message).
When you have added the pictures the next step is to click send and they should be in your email within a couple of seconds. I hope this helps someone, Happy Downloading.

Yes you can send picture messages to cell phones. When you compose a text message, you can just insert an image. Then it will go out as a picture message. As as the recipient's phone can, like most phones, receive picture messages then it should go through fine.

The Tracfone LG420g is no longer capable of this function according to Tracfone. What good is a camera phone when the pictures can't be transferred? My OLD LG420g WAS capable, so this change was recently made. WHY? To piss off customers?

i am having the same problem i revieve an email with no picture.. but if i sent text it goes thru...

why is life so complicated...if i cant get my pics on computer the camera is useless

LOL but not really funny.. before i purchasedd, tracfone assured me i could accomplish this task with my phone

I was able to send (and units were deducted) but the picture never arrived in my email. I think the phone might not be capable of sending to email.

Menu, Contacts, New Contacts
I used Computer for first name
Hit Options, then email (type in your address).

To send pictures:
Menu, My Folder, Pictures (pick which one)
Then select options, send, message, to:,
add, contact and select address in this case would be Computer.

Note: To send to your phone a email message, in my case I have tracfone. It will be your phone @ mms.att.net
