Display on the outside of phone has gone away

I've had two of these, and the display on the outside of phone has gone away on both of them. Never been dropped or abused in any way, they just stopped working.

Are the phones still working otherwise? Can you make and receive calls and text messages.

All I can basically suggest is to turn the phone off, remove the battery, re-insert it and turn it back on again. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have never owned a cell phone long enough to have a display stop working. This model of phone was released in 2007. So the phone is around 5 or 6 years old. Even if you have not owned the phone that long, that is how long it has been manufactured for.

I am guessing that the display has burnt out. There is not anything that I can think of to make the display start to work again. I would keep using them until you can afford to replace them. Because usually when one thing goes wrong with a phone, something else will go wrong soon.

If you have had these phones for under a year you can contact Tracfone or Net10 and see if they will replace the phones for you. If they do replace them, you may get a different model of phone, or you may get the same model of phone. It just depends on what they have in stock.

If you like the phones that you currently own I would look into the LG221C(no camera), LG 430G, LG 235C, LG420G, LG410G if you are using Tracfone. If you are using Net10 I suggest looking at LG 235C, LG 221C, or Samsung R335C.
