I have been trying for such a long time to figure out how to delete these darn messages! I can't believe that it was that simple!
I even called Tracfone at one point so they could help me figure it out but they just told me that the "delete all" feature wasn't available on the LG 420g model.

To kin2u for figuring out how to delete messages. When you push "mark all" you have to wait 10 seconds for phone to finish and not hit close.

What a relief and joy to have found this page. I, too, couldn't find how to delete more than one message at a time. My other LG had a much easier/efficient system than this LG420. (If it hadn't shared a coat pocket with a broken chicken egg this past winter I'd never have replaced it!*grin).

I just deleted 71 messages all at once and really it is simple...so "anonymous" do the following:

For messages, you have to use the Mark "feature". For example, Go to Messages; Sent Items; Options; Mark/Unmark (at the bottom of the list, just scroll upwards one); Mark all (you will notice that all messages have a check mark by them); Options (again); Delete (all marked items will be deleted).

Easy Delete All by: Anonymous
Press Menu Key,
Select "Recent Calls" or Press 3,
Select "All Calls" or Press 4,
Select "Options"
Select "Delete All" or Press 6,
Press "OK Key" to Delete All
This will Delete, All Missed Calls, All Dialed Calls, and All Received Calls

I purchased this phone. For the cost I love it but this is one feature that I have not found. It is very annoying! However you can delete all calls received calls, missed calls and dialed calls. How can something so simple be so difficult?! Come on give us some answers. Is it an update we need to do? Or is it just a flaw in the phone?
