Can't set up photo on LG 600 contact list

The first day I had this phone I was able to transfer photos from graphics to my contact list. Since then I haven't been able to sent photos from graphics to my contact list. I even took a new photo and tried to transfer it directly to the contact list and it didn't work. I called tracfone and they told me that this was not a feature of this phone. I asked them why it worked once and not again and they could not explain it to me. I think they're not telling me the truth. I feel like I've been scammed. Any advice on this?

You will always get [snip](people) saying, you can't do that or that feature was not intended to be used with the phone blah blah blah. [snip] You're not helping.

here's how:

step 1. go to menu then contacts. then go to option 8 or scroll down to 'view options' and select option3 'with picture' and set.

step 2. go to your contact list from menu then optionv1 or simply hit the down arrow from the main screen. now you will have you list of contacts with a box next to displaying 'no picture' select a contact and hit 'options' and select optionv4 or 'Edit' hit the arrow up so you are on 'Memory' type and then change this from 'SIM' to 'Phone' by hitting the right arrow.

step 3. now you will have extended the edit screen for that contact to personalize it even further. Scroll down until you get to edit 'Picture' area and select 'options' and the option2 or 'Graphics' select a photo with the arrow keys and hit 'Set'

You can also have personalized ringtones for each contact by editing just below that under 'Ringtone' change from 'Default' to whatever you want by selecting 'options' and then option 2 or 'Ringtones' choose desired ringtone and hit 'Set'

Photo on Contact list

The camera feature is for taking great, very clear photos and sending them via MMS. Mine takes great photos, but the you and the person gettng their photo taken must be very still. You can also share them with other phones via bluetooth. And you can use them for the wallpaper. I love the camera.

Uploading Photos ...

I have been uploading JPGs to my tracfone lg600g (via bluetooth)from the low end version of Adobe Photoshop (Elements 2.0) the only prerequisite seems to be that you must have a 480x640 image and use standard (or "baseline") compression..
It seems to zoom in, display OK and I can attach it to the photos in the addressbook.

yah....had the same thing happen and can't find a answer...though i did find that we're not alone..my thing is "Y is the function on the fone if "TRACEFONE" says it aint part a it????????????

Ive had the same problem and havent been able to find the answer.....havent called tracfone(Didn't think it would help) but why is the function on the fone if it aint part of it??????
