Left it in the charger too long.

Battery dead!

Bought a new one.

Can't open battery compartment!

Hold the phone in your right hand with the bottom towards you. place your thumb back and push up with your thumb. the back cover will move about 1/16 inch. when that has happened lift the cover off.
