Q. Can you text on Jitterbug cell phone plan?
A. There is a Simple Text service for sending and receiving text messages. There are extensive instructions on how to send and receive text messages. They also provides some canned text messages that you can use so you don't have to type out each letter.

Text messages cost 10 cents each to send or receive. This is in addition to your calling plan. There are no text messages included with your plan. It'll show up as a separate charge on your bill. If you decide you don't want this capability, you can call Jitterbug's customer support and ask them to turn it off.
