Bluetooth your contacts from old LG phone to new LG phone

Here is a real time saving tip! If you are replacing an LG brand phone with another LG phone you can use bluetooth to send all your contacts from your old phone to the new phone.

There is an option in the contacts menu to send all contacts via bluetooth to your new phone. (This does not work with other brands of phones.) Just one more reason to stay with an LG phone. I just did this today. It sent 95 contacts to my new phone. That saved me a lot of work, especially with a flip phone that has a keypad.

Contacts also remain on your old phone, they do not disappear. You need to pair up the phones first and then do the contacts transfer. Works slick and saves tons of time!

Thanks for the tip. However, I think this does work on some other phones. I seem to recall transferring contact from an old Net10 Samsung phone.

However, it is true that many of the older Tracfone models (before the 420g) had Bluetooth transfer disabled.
