Looking for Bluetooth on Tracfone handsets? You are in luck. Most Tracfone handsets offer Bluetooth, but some of the older models do not allow file transfer. The newer models like the Samsung T404g, the LG 420g, the LG 600g do. The Samsung T301g and the Motorola W376g don't. All these work great with your Bluetooth headset.

LG 420g

The LG 420G with Double Minutes for Life is the newest Bluetooth LG Tracfone. It still has just VGA camera but offers Bluetooth for file transfer and headsets at a lower price point. It's a pretty good prepaid, phone. The documentation is somewhat lacking, but the reader of this site have made up for that on the LG 420g page.

LG 600g Bluetooth Phone

The LG600G Cell Phone, Double Minutes for Life with Bluetooth is a nice phone with camera and a voice recorder. Back when I first reviewed the phone, I knew you could pair it with your Bluetooth headset.

Then one of my readers found out that with Bluetooth on Tracfone LG600g phones, not only could you transfer files to your PC, but you could also upload your own ringtones to your phones (as .amr files).

So for full Bluetooth on Tracfone, these phones above are your best option. However, if all you need is for your phone to work with your headset, then you choose one of the other phones.

Samsung T301g

The Samsung T301G Cell Phone is a great slider phone with a nice large screen for sending text messages and also picture messages containing the photos you take with its camera. You can pair the T301g with your Bluetooth headset, however you can not hook it up to a PC, as far as I know.

Samsung T245g and T155g

The Samsung T245G and T155g are very basic flip which can pair with a headset.

Motorola W376

The Motorola W376 is a cute and stylish little flip phone with convenient external indicators that tell you when the phone is charging and when there are calls or messages. It even has an FM radio for your entertainment. Like the T301g, this phone's Bluetooth capability is fine for pairing with a headset, and that's all. So far as I know, there is no Tracfone W376 Bluetooth hack that gives you access via a PC. If you find a way let me know!
