Q: Are there any roaming charges with Jitterbug?
A: No. With one important exception, there are no roaming charges when using Jitterbug phones. GreatCall relies on Verizon's nationwide wireless network, so you get great coverage and no roaming charges no matter where you call from in the USA.

The important exception is if you travel outside the US, make sure your Jitterbug is turned off if you take it with you. Calls made by someone using a Jitterbug phone from outside the USA can incur international roaming charges, and those can be quite expensive.
